College Ministry

Located at the base of the University of Alaska and within easy walking distance, University Baptist Church was originally founded to reach college students for Christ. The ministry also reaches out to the young men and women serving in the military as well as ministering to singles and young married couples. Through Bible studies and social activities, the UBC College Ministry provides a family for these young adults who may be far from home.
College Ministry offers rides to church from campus every Sunday throughout the school year. The pick-up is at 9:30am at the Wood Center bus stop. Breakfast is provided at the church during the Bible study hour.

Here are some of the activities we do throughout the school year:
• Bible Studies
• Sunday lunches every other Sunday (hosted by different church families)
• Friday Dinners and Events
• UAF Sporting Events
• Snowmobiling
• Cross Country Skiing
• A Fall and Spring Retreat
• Service Projects
