With our church situated just down the hill from the University of Alaska,
Fairbanks, Campus, we are in an ideal location to minister to university students. At UBC
our goal is to meet the needs of college students as well as give them opportunities to
develop the gifts and abilities God has given them.
In addition to our Sunday morning College Bible study class, there are various
activities throughout the year that are targeted to college students including, skiing,
sledding, canoeing, progressive dinners, scavenger hunts, New Years Eve and
Super Bowl parties, and of course free food! The group coordinates with BCM, a
area wide outreach of the Tanana Valley Baptist Association (TVBA) for college
students. (BCM stands for Baptist College Ministries).
