Missions / WMU

WMU exists in the church to challenge and encourage all Christians to be radically involved in the mission of God. This is done by the following:
• Pray for and give to missions
• Learn about and do missions
• Support the work of the church and the denomination

WMU supports several special offerings and national and international prayer initiatives. WMU also offers support for mission opportunities through the church:
• WorldCraft
• Local Food Bank
• National Day of Prayer and
• Christmas in August for our missionaries
• Operation Christmas Child

Missions Education
• Mission Friends class is offered for Preschoolers ages 4-K, Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m, September – May.
• Children in Action class is offered for Children grades 1 – 6 Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m, September – May.
• Women on Mission group is offered for women and meets monthly at a local restaurant for lunch and missions learning and involvement.

Learning about missions and being involved in missions helps us grow spiritually and challenges us to understand God’s call on our own lives and leads us to find ways to be a part of His mission.
